The Koji Club
The Koji Club at Brighton’s Charles River Speedway makes sake the main reason to stop for a drink. Owner Alyssa Mikiko DiPasquale’s list moves through sparkling, aged, cloudy and other styles, with tasting notes that give you something more useful than an unfamiliar bottle name. You can order a glass, share a bottle or book a tasting if you want a guided introduction. The snack menu ranges from Japanese potato chips and cucumber pickles to sesame onigiri and toasted mochi with nori. There are also teas and nonalcoholic drinks. Walk-ins are welcome, so you do not need to organize a formal tasting just to try something new.
