The Cantab Lounge

The Cantab Lounge in Central Square has two rooms with different reasons to stay for another set. At street level, the Lounge has casual seating and a small stage for folk, jazz, cover bands and open mics. Downstairs, Cantab Underground puts punk, hardcore and electronic music in a low-ceilinged room with a standing crowd close to the performers. Live music runs seven nights a week, and the entire venue is twenty-one-plus. There is no kitchen, but you can bring your own food; drinks come from the bar. The street-level Lounge is wheelchair accessible, while the Underground requires stairs. Check which room your show is in before buying tickets.
