The Anchor

Seasonal hours apply; check with The Anchor before visiting. This open-air wine and beer garden occupies Shipyard Park in the Charlestown Navy Yard, with space for a waterfront drink and a changing calendar of public activities. Beer, wine, frozen cocktails and sangria share the drinks list with coffee, tea and lemonade.

The gathering space welcomes all ages, and its programming includes live music, dance classes, movie nights and comedy. Check the calendar for the date you have in mind, since activities and access can vary by event. Leashed dogs are welcome in designated areas. The venue also accepts bookings for private gatherings, from birthdays to larger group events.
