Sulmona
Sulmona brings an Abruzzo connection to Kendall Square through chef Delio Susi Jr.’s Italian menu. Start with arrosticini, the traditional lamb skewers, or a plate of arancini. Pasta choices include cavatelli with wild boar ragù, bucatini carbonara and linguine with littleneck clams, while slow-roasted porchetta comes with creamy polenta and vegetables.
There are smaller pizzas too, from a straightforward Margherita to fig and prosciutto with several cheeses. An antipasto plate makes a useful opening move if the table wants to share before choosing mains. The Main Street restaurant serves lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday and opens for dinner on Saturday. It’s closed Sunday and Monday, so plan your pasta evening accordingly.
