Shy Bird – Fenway

Shy Bird’s Fenway restaurant makes chicken the center of a much broader menu at 201 Brookline Avenue. Herb-roasted chicken comes by the half or whole bird, while other preparations bring piri-piri sauce or honey Dijon. The SB Dunks are fried chicken bites with dipping sauces, a different proposition from carving into a bird with a knife and fork.

Salads, grain bowls, a smash burger and seafood give the table alternatives. The restaurant serves weekday breakfast and lunch, weekend brunch and dinner, with separate menus for each. That makes it useful for a morning meal as well as an evening reservation, but check the service times if you’re arriving between lunch and dinner.
