Seoul Soulongtang

Seoul Soulongtang at 1245 Commonwealth Avenue is a Korean restaurant with beef soups at the heart of its menu. The namesake soulongtang sits alongside kalbitang, made with beef short ribs, and yook gae jang, a spicy beef soup. There are also versions of kalbitang with spice or greens, so the soup section gives you more than one direction to take.

The rest of the menu makes this useful for a mixed order, too. Bibimbap, seafood and kimchi pancakes, and pork dishes give someone who doesn’t want soup other choices. A pancake can sit in the middle of the table while everyone orders their own bowl.
