Rhythm ’n Wraps serves vegan comfort food at 1096 Commonwealth Avenue, with a menu that gives vegetables, mushrooms and plant-based proteins plenty to do. The Gangsta Wrap combines apple-sage seitan with jerk-hoisin sauce and tahini dressing. The Oyster Po’ Boy uses crispy oyster mushrooms, while the Beantown Burger has a patty made with black beans, mushrooms and quinoa.

You can also make a meal of the golden chickpea curry bowl, loaded fries or a Philly-style sandwich. Weekend brunch adds waffles, pancakes and a breakfast burrito made with JUST Egg. It’s a useful stop when a group wants burgers and sandwiches and someone eats vegan: everyone can order from the same menu. Online ordering is available for takeout, and the restaurant closes on Mondays.
