Punch Bowl

Punch Bowl is the restaurant in the Hilton Garden Inn at 700 Brookline Avenue, from Jen and Josh Ziskin. Its name refers to Brookline’s historic tavern, but the current restaurant occupies a modern hotel. The menu makes room for a raw bar, popovers, fish and chips, pizzas and a tavern burger, so dinner can be a full meal or a few shared plates.

Breakfast has a separate menu, including pancakes, omelets and bagel sandwiches. The dining room has large windows and an open kitchen, with a ground-floor patio for outdoor meals when available. Reservations and online ordering are offered through the restaurant. For a group, check the current menu before choosing between the seafood dishes and the more casual pizza-and-burger side of the kitchen.
