Pete’s a Pizza

Pete’s A Pizza on Centre Street lets you start with the sauce: tomato, garlic butter, Alfredo or pesto. From there, the specialty pies include Leni’s Special with chicken, roasted peppers, tomatoes and a pesto drizzle, or a steak pizza on a garlic-butter base. The menu also covers calzones, wraps, subs and pasta, with plenty of room for an ordinary cheese pizza.

The Jamaica Plain shop offers pickup and delivery and says it has returned to its original ownership. For a group order, the mix of sandwiches and pizzas is useful when people want different meals. If you’re ordering for yourself, a wrap or sub avoids committing to a whole pie. Pete’s closes on Sundays, so plan that pizza night accordingly.
