Perillas
Perillas on Western Avenue serves Korean rice bowls with a choice of meat, tofu or vegetables. Beef bulgogi bibimbap pairs soy-marinated beef with rice, carrots, zucchini, cucumbers and pickled radish. Gochujang and the restaurant’s aioli let you adjust how the bowl comes together, while a tofu version gives you another way to order the same mix of vegetables.
The Allston menu also includes kalbi and grilled pork belly bowls, which the business identifies as location-specific choices. Quesadillas take things in a different direction, combining bulgogi or spicy pork with cheese and sauces. This is the restaurant at 380 Western Avenue, away from the cluster of Korean restaurants around Harvard Avenue. Check the Western Avenue ordering page for the dishes available at this branch.
