No Relation

Last service is January 1, 2027, after which Traveler Street Hospitality is closing No Relation along with Shore Leave (Boston Globe). No Relation has nine seats, reached through a narrow hallway inside Shore Leave in the South End. Check in at Shore Leave’s host stand, then settle in for a 17-course omakase served directly by the chefs. Colin Lynch’s menu draws on Japanese sushi techniques, with fish sourced from different parts of the world; a map in the room marks where it comes from. The small counter puts the preparation right in front of you, making the meal as much about watching the next piece take shape as eating it. Black truffle and Ossetra caviar are optional additions, and there is a chance to order extra bites toward the end.
