Newsfeed Café

Newsfeed Café is inside the Boston Public Library’s Boylston Street Building, where a coffee break can come with a live GBH broadcast. The café serves Jim’s Organic Coffee, espresso drinks, matcha, and tea, along with sandwiches, pastries, soups, and salads. Food from local businesses appears in the selection, including Suya Joint meat pies and Carolicious tequeños.

For a fuller lunch, there are turkey club, Caprese, and ham-and-Gruyère sandwiches. A pastry or slice of cake works if you are only stopping between library rooms. Broadcasts take place on selected weekdays, so check the current schedule if watching a program is the reason for your visit. Otherwise, it is a convenient daytime stop for food and a seat during an afternoon at the library.
