Newbridge Cafe

Newbridge Cafe has served Chelsea since 1975, with marinated steak tips at the center of its menu. At 650 Washington Avenue, the restaurant also cooks barbecue, Italian dishes and seafood, so a table doesn’t have to agree on steak to eat here. Chicken limone, baked fish and scallops are among the alternatives, along with a half-pound burger marinated in the house barbecue sauce.

There’s a full bar, and the kitchen prepares party platters for pickup as well as catering orders. If it’s the sauce that brings you back, Newbridge sells its barbecue sauce and house salad dressing separately to take home.
