Mortadella Head

Mortadella Head in Davis Square serves Italian-American pizza and subs with a generous amount going on between the bread. Its namesake sandwich combines chicken Parmesan, eggplant Parmesan, mortadella, and roasted peppers. The Prime Time Italian layers several cured meats with sharp provolone, vegetables, and balsamic, while pulled porchetta gets its own sandwich with broccoli rabe.

Pizza choices include sausage and ricotta, chicken Parmesan, and the Shredder with pepperoni, jalapeño, and honey. The kitchen also makes hand-cut mozzarella sticks served with tomato sauce. You can order pickup or delivery from the College Avenue shop, or arrange catering for a group. If you still have room after the sandwich, the dessert menu includes mini chocolate-chip cannoli.
