Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar – South Boston

Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar opened on West Broadway in January 2015, across the street from Lincoln Tavern, in the old Pan Asia space. The Lincoln Tavern team opened it as a Baja-style taco spot with a raw bar. Tacos come one at a time on house-made corn tortillas: carne asada, carnitas, Baja fish, al pastor, or birria with a cup of broth.

Oysters, shrimp-and-octopus ceviche, street corn, and guacamole sit with the tacos. Weekday lunch starts at 11, weekend brunch at 10, and after dinner the menu shrinks to oysters, tacos, guacamole, and nachos. Have a margarita or a tequila flight, eat in, or take the tacos to go.
