Koreana
Koreana on Prospect Street offers Korean barbecue at the table alongside a broad menu of cooked dishes. Galbi, bulgogi and pork belly are among the grill choices, with vegetables and tofu available too. The restaurant requires at least two barbecue orders to use a table grill, a useful detail to know before settling on dinner.
There is plenty to order without grilling: a seafood scallion pancake to share, spicy tofu stew, cold noodles or bibimbap served in a hot stone pot. Entrees come with side dishes for the table. Soju, makgeolli, sake and beer round out the drinks list. A group can build a meal around the barbecue; a smaller party can just as easily focus on individual dishes.
