Island Creek’s Seaport raw bar is an outdoor place to eat oysters, open a tin of fish and spend time around a picnic table. The Duxbury oyster company’s Boston location serves caviar alongside its shellfish, with umbrella-covered seating on Autumn Lane. There is no indoor dining room to retreat to, so check the forecast and the venue’s updates before setting out: bad weather can change the hours or close it for the day. Everyday seating is first come, first served, without standard reservations. Leashed dogs are welcome in designated areas. Groups that want reserved space can arrange an event with a food and beverage minimum.
