Harvard Club of Boston

The Harvard Club of Boston is a private members’ club on Commonwealth Avenue, with dining rooms, a pub, overnight rooms and spaces for working or meeting. Its Veritas Restaurant and Lounge serves meals, while ClubPub offers a more casual setting for watching sports over a drink. The Member Commons includes work areas and phone booths, and fitness facilities include squash and pickleball.

Access is the first thing to sort out before planning a visit. Membership has specific eligibility requirements, with some pathways extending beyond Harvard alumni; guests should make arrangements through their host or the club. Business casual is the usual dress, and denim is permitted. It’s also an event venue, with rooms for meetings, celebrations and weddings, rather than a restaurant you can simply walk into from the street.
