The selection includes sardines, trout, anchovies and mackerel, with mussels and octopus for anyone who wants to branch out. There is plenty beyond the tins: chicken liver mousse, mushroom toast, scallop ceviche, cheese and charcuterie all appear on the food menu. Owner Haley Fortier opened the Province Street wine bar in 2016, building its list around small producers and natural wines. Bottles change, so tell the staff what you usually like and let that start the conversation. It works for a glass and a snack or several shared plates over a longer evening.
