Empire combines an Asian restaurant and a late-night lounge at Marina Park Drive. Dinner can start with pork potstickers or scallion pancakes, followed by sushi, noodles or a larger plate such as sesame beef. The sushi menu ranges from individual rolls to platters for sharing, which helps when a group wants to order across the table.

The room’s nightlife schedule matters as much as the menu. DJs are part of the draw later in the week, and the bar and lounge are always 21-plus. The entire venue becomes 21-plus at 9 p.m. Check the dress code before heading over, and remember that the kitchen closes before the bar. An early dinner and a late lounge visit are different plans here.
