Drydock Cafe, seafood in Seaport

Drydock Cafe

Drydock Cafe serves seafood inside an unassuming building on Drydock Avenue, away from the Seaport’s hotel restaurants and waterfront dining rooms. The draw is the food: fish and chips, fried whole-belly clams and a fisherman’s platter with several kinds of seafood. It’s a casual place to sit down with a substantial lunch, especially if fried haddock sounds better than another sandwich.

The menu also includes chowder and broiled fish for anyone who would rather skip the fryer. Breakfast takes a different direction, with eggs, omelets, pancakes and French toast. Look for the cafe at 7 Drydock Avenue, and decide whether you’re in the mood for an egg breakfast or a seafood lunch before making the trip.
