Crafts Zone

Crafts Zone on Harvard Street is a hands-on studio where the activity is making something yourself. Brookline projects include tufting, candle making, shell crafts and decoden decorating, which uses decorative cream and small embellishments. There are shorter projects and others that take several hours, so choose the craft before deciding how much of the afternoon to set aside.

Age guidance and collection arrangements vary by activity. Some finished pieces can go home immediately; others need time before pickup. Read the individual Brookline project listing rather than relying on the general gallery, which also includes activities at the Natick location. Workshops and birthday-party options are available, making this useful for a creative afternoon with friends or a family outing planned around the participants’ ages and interests.
