Commune Hair

Winner of the first season of American Beauty Star, Sandy Poirier cuts hair right here in South Boston. His salon, Commune Hair, is upstairs at 840 Summer Street, with a team offering haircuts, razor cuts and color. Sandy describes his personal style as rock ’n’ roll, edgy and grungy, and he specializes in men’s hair.

The salon staff are stars in their own right. Po Kearney specializes in razor cuts and color, while Noelle Bellmer, Marisa Stewart and Jeannette Ruperto specialize in color and cuts.
