City Feed and Supply

City Feed and Supply on Boylston Street combines groceries, a deli and a cafe in one neighborhood shop. You can pick up a sandwich and coffee, then add a few things for home. The deli menu includes roast beef on a baguette and smoked turkey with smoked cheddar, red pepper relish and pesto, with bread from Iggy’s used for several sandwiches.

Pastries come from local bakeries, and the selection changes, so there’s usually a decision to make beyond which coffee to order. This is the Boylston Street location, separate from the larger Centre Street store. The cafe and deli finish service before the shop closes, a useful distinction if you’re arriving later in the evening specifically for a made-to-order sandwich.
