Capricho Colombian Steakhouse

Capricho Colombian Steakhouse on Beacon Street combines steakhouse dining with Colombian dishes and ingredients. There are grilled meats at the center of the menu, but seafood gets room too: cazuela del mar brings shrimp, octopus, calamari and mussels together in a coconut seafood broth. Wood-roasted vegetables offer another route through the main courses.

The Colombian influence continues through the drinks and dessert. The cocktail list includes an aguardiente drink with cilantro-lime syrup and pineapple, while obleas layer crisp wafers with arequipe, blackberry preserve, cheese and cream. Alcohol-free cocktails are listed separately. This is a place to plan a full dinner, with enough variety that the table does not have to order steak all around.
