Brick and Mortar

Brick & Mortar is an upstairs cocktail bar in Central Square, with exposed brick, vaulted ceilings and a copper bar. Its drinks list gives you plenty of directions to go: mezcal with sherry and strawberry, a gin and apricot cocktail, several martinis, and alcohol-free versions of a spritz and Negroni. The food leans Italian and works well for sharing. White bean spread comes with house-made bread and pickled vegetables; other choices include anchovy crostini, oysters and a prosciutto, tomato and mozzarella sandwich.
