Bonchon’s Allston restaurant on Brighton Avenue is built around Korean fried chicken with a double-fried coating and a choice of sauces. Wings, drumsticks, strips and boneless pieces let you choose the cut as well as the flavor. Soy garlic is one of the familiar options, and pickled radish or coleslaw gives you something alongside the chicken.

There’s more to order if the table wants a full meal. The Allston menu includes bibimbap, fried rice, bao and bulgogi fries, so you can mix a shared chicken order with individual dishes.
