Bab Korean Bistro Brookline
BAB Korean Bistro on Beacon Street gives you plenty of ways to build a Korean meal. Start with mandu, the house-made beef, pork and vegetable dumplings, or a scallion pancake for the table. The Brookline menu moves through marinated meats, rice dishes, stews and noodles, including beef bulgogi, L.A. galbi and dolsot bibimbap served in a hot stone bowl.
For a soup-centered dinner, the choices include kimchi jjigae with pork, soft tofu stew and seolleongtang, an ox-bone soup with beef brisket. There are also japchae and fried rice if you would rather skip the broth. It is a broad menu, so ordering a couple of starters to share alongside individual bowls is a sensible place to begin. Select the Brookline menu when ordering; BAB also has a Malden location.
