Area Four

Area Four in Cambridge’s Technology Square takes its pizza dough seriously, fermenting it for more than thirty hours before it goes into the wood-fired oven. The crust comes out charred, with toppings ranging from a classic Margherita to clams with garlic, oregano and lemon. Mushroom and fontina is another option, and pies come in two sizes, which helps when the table cannot agree. Garlic knots, baked meatballs and macaroni and cheese fill out the menu, alongside salads such as shaved Brussels sprouts and kale with hazelnuts. The industrial dining room has outdoor seating available, too. The adjoining café handles coffee, pastries and breakfast, giving you another reason to stop by.
