A.T. O’Keeffe’s occupies the former McGreevy’s space on Boylston Street, with an Irish pub menu and a particular interest in bourbon. Burgers, fish and chips, shepherd’s pie and truffle mac and cheese give you plenty of reasons to order dinner with your drink. The beer selection includes local and imported options, while the spirits list leaves room to move beyond the usual pint.

The Back Bay address works for a stop along Boylston Street or a meal before heading toward Fenway. Late arrivals have a separate reason to remember it: the pub advertises pizza from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. That is the late-night menu, so come earlier if shepherd’s pie is the plan.
