Gronkowski Donates $1.2 MM To Renovate Boston City Playground
NFL star Rob Gronkowski holds a special place in the heart of many New Englanders, and it’s easy to see why! With a large donation to renovate the Charlesbank Playground, many families and kids will soon experience the benefits for years to come.
Former New England Patriots tight end Robert Gronkowski made a quick stop this weekend to deliver some exciting news to the residents of Boston. On behalf of his foundation, Gronk Nation Youth Foundation, Rob announced he will be donating $1.2 million to rebuild the Charlesbank playground located along the Charles River Esplanade. The money donated will help update the current playground’s climbing structures, slides, and swings with the first 10 years of maintenance included.
