Phantoms by Firelight: Frankenstein Encounter

Old Sturbridge Village turns its grounds into a walk through Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein for Phantoms by Firelight: Frankenstein Encounter, produced with ClockJack Productions. Visitors walk fire-lit paths through scenes instead of sitting for a show. It runs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from October 3 through October 25, from 4:30 to 9 p.m. The village says the night includes theatrical fog, strobe and lighting effects, low light, uneven ground, tight passages, loud sound, fire, and recreated scenes of conflict. It says there are no planned jump scares, gore, or graphic violence, and that families should decide whether it suits younger children. Tickets are date-specific. A group of 12 or more can book at $25 for an adult and $16 for a youth.
