Opening for Iran: Memory X Heartbeat

Opening reception for Iran: Memory X Heartbeat, a group exhibition curated by Roya Khadjavi and the Safarani Sisters. The show brings together Iranian artists who share an origin and now live in different places. The work is about distance, displacement, and memory: Iran as it is remembered and carried, not a reconstruction of the country as it is now. RSVP is requested. No ticket price is listed. The photograph is by Tahmineh Monzavi.
