October Hands-On History

Downtown Boston Alliance’s October Hands-On History is at the Old State House. The afternoon looks at how 18th-century Bostonians treated witches, spiders, ghosts, and spirits, with coloring, a historical costume to make, and Boston’s burying grounds. Revolutionary Spaces calls it a Historical Halloween Party. It follows the idea of the Children’s Hours once held at Old South Meeting House. Activities are included with general admission. Children and teens 17 and under get into the Old State House and Old South Meeting House free.
