JOY! A free house music dance party

food, drinks, and house music you won’t want to miss!

JOY is a monthly community celebration of dance music hosted by Jenene & Jesse C at Roundhead Brewing Company (September – May) where people gather to dance and enjoy good food and drinks together: Cerveza Que Reúne. Residents Jenene & Jesse C (JC2) play deep, afro, latin, jazzy, classic, soul, underground house grooves in the spacious community room along with featured guest Deep Just of GetOpen Sessions and BeFree Radio.

JOY is a family-friendly, intergenerational, intersectional, community event. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied at all times by an adult family member. Disrespect or discrimination is not tolerated. We dance with the music to be free and embrace joy.

Roundhead Brewing serves a variety of brews made onsite, empanadas by Chiqui’s Kitchen, pizza and much more. It is located nestled in the back of the Westinghouse industrial building complex in Hyde Park.
