Coppélia

Boston Ballet dances George Balanchine and Alexandra Danilova’s Coppélia, after Marius Petipa. The Boston Ballet Orchestra plays Léo Delibes live. Swanilda and Franz cross paths with the inventor Dr. Coppélius and his doll. Twenty-four Boston Ballet School students are in the cast. The music can be loud depending on the seat. A gift from the Stephens Naphtal Foundation made this production possible.
