Prudential Center
The Prudential Center sits under the 52-story tower on Boylston Street in Back Bay. The tower opened in 1965, and the retail floors now hold more than 70 shops and restaurants, anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue. Eataly is in there too. View Boston is the observation deck, 750 feet up, with indoor and outdoor views all the way around. When you want air without leaving the building, the South Garden is a 1.3-acre park inside the center, with water and a stage for music. The Green Line lets you off at Prudential. There is also a post office, a shoe repair, and a car wash if you are already inside. Restaurant hours are not the same as the center hours.
