Carlson Orchards

Carlson Orchards is a 100-acre working farm at 115 Oak Hill Road in Harvard. Pick-your-own runs during apple season across more than 20 varieties. The Cider Barn pours hard cider made from the orchard’s own fruit, including bottles made with heirloom American and European cider apples, and is open Friday through Sunday.

Weekday pickers can still get fruit; the cider half of the trip is the weekend piece. The retail store sells sweet cider, baked goods, and fruit if you want apples without picking them yourself. Pets are not allowed on the property. Check the farm’s daily updates before you go, because available varieties change through the season.
