Bar Moxy

Bar Moxy is on the second floor of Moxy Boston Downtown on Tremont Street, and you don’t need a room key to come in. The bar welcomes walk-ins for breakfast, dinner and drinks, with communal tables, lounge seating and board games that give friends something to do between rounds. There’s a photo booth, too, if the evening needs documenting.

The food runs from burgers and pizza to short-rib tacos with garlic chili aioli. Pretzel bites work for sharing, while a vegetarian chili grain bowl offers something more substantial without meat. DJs play Thursday through Saturday, with other events appearing on the calendar. The hotel’s rooftop event space, Area24, is a separate venue, so head to the second floor for the regular bar.
