S&L Subs

S&L Subs has been making sandwiches in Chelsea since 1973. The shop at 462 Eastern Avenue serves hot and cold subs, salads and pasta dinners, with an Italian sub and steak bomb among its staples. The Reuben combines corned beef, Swiss, sauerkraut and Russian dressing; the chicken kebab sub adds vegetables, olives, feta and Greek dressing.

Friday brings a different lunch option: haddock fish tacos. There are daily and seasonal specials too. Order for pickup or delivery, or arrange a catering order of sandwiches, salads and pasta. The shop’s own drivers cover Chelsea, Revere, East Boston and parts of Everett; third-party delivery services extend the range.
