Fallow Kin
Fallow Kin puts vegetables at the center of dinner on Main Street in Cambridge. The restaurant comes from the Talulla team and chef Marcos Sanchez, with dishes built around ingredients from local farms. A beet terrine uses the stems and leaves as well as the root; other plates pair broccoli with burnt onion and miso or eggplant with chili romesco. Pasta, seafood and meat are on the menu too, so the vegetable focus does not mean an entirely vegetarian kitchen. Order à la carte for a meal of your own choosing, or book the seven-course tasting at the chef’s counter overlooking the kitchen. House breads, cocktails, wine and a separate nonalcoholic drinks list round out the evening.
