Trina’s Starlite Lounge

Trina’s Starlite Lounge in Somerville takes hot dogs seriously enough to give them a daily special. The regular menu includes griddled dogs and tofu pups, plus a Starlite version piled with cheese, fries, coleslaw, and aioli. That same combination can go on a burger. Fried chicken comes with hot pepper syrup, macaroni and cheese gets a Ritz cracker topping, and the vegetarian burger is made with black beans and corn. It is a bar meal with plenty to choose from, whether you want one hot dog or dinner with sides. Trina’s also serves brunch. Seating is first come, first served, so plan around that rather than looking for a reservation.
