Pikalo X on Geneva Avenue gives the empanada menu room to roam. Fillings include beef and cheese, chicken with sweet plantain and cheese, codfish, and guava with cheese. There are breakfast combinations with bacon, egg and cheese, too. Beyond empanadas, the Dorchester location serves sandwiches, wings and fries, with flan and tres leches among the desserts. Start with a few different fillings to share, or make an order around a sandwich and an empanada on the side.
