Chilacates

Chilacates began on Amory Street in 2015, and this is the original shop near Stony Brook station. Mexican street food drives the menu: tacos, tortas, tostadas and burritos, with fillings ranging from chicken tinga to al pastor and carnitas. Enchiladas bring another option, with tortillas covered in green sauce and melted cheese.

The small Jamaica Plain storefront is a practical stop for a taco order or dinner to bring home. A burrito combines your chosen filling with rice, beans, cheese and pico de gallo, while individual tacos let you mix things up.
