Daily Provisions – Seaport

Daily Provisions at Commonwealth Pier covers more of the day than its pastry counter might suggest. Start with coffee and a cruller, available in flavors including cinnamon and maple, or order an egg-and-cheese sandwich if breakfast needs to last. Lunch brings sandwiches such as chicken Milanese, a tuna melt and herb chicken salad on seeded sourdough.

The Seaport cafe also sells roast chicken by the half or whole bird, with sides such as crispy potatoes with Parmesan and pecorino or roasted broccoli. That makes it an option for picking up dinner on the way home as well as sitting down for lunch. Order ahead for pickup, or leave time to look over the baked goods before deciding.
