Thonglor
Thonglor’s Bamee-Poo puts crispy pork and crabmeat over egg noodles, with broth served on the side. Its tom yum noodle soup takes a different approach, bringing shrimp, squid, crispy pork, fish balls and a boiled egg into a spicy broth. Both are reasons to read beyond the familiar noodle dishes at this Washington Street Thai restaurant.
Starters include curry puffs with cucumber relish, grilled pork skewers and fried chive dumplings with sweet black soy sauce. For another main, there’s garlic pork over jasmine rice with cucumber and a fried egg, or pad see ew with wide noodles and Chinese broccoli. Thonglor has an online ordering menu for pickup. Check the service period before heading over, since it closes between lunch and dinner.
