A new live music series is quietly taking over Boston’s Seaport

A new jazz series is bringing live music back into Boston nightlife.

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport has launched a recurring Jazz Lounge at Kestra, offering live performances several nights a week inside one of the city’s busiest neighborhoods.

The series takes place at Kestra, the hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and lounge, and features jazz musicians performing in an intimate indoor setting.

According to event listings, the jazz nights are currently scheduled for Wednesday through Friday evenings, adding a consistent live music option to the Seaport’s nightlife lineup.

The format is simple.

Live jazz, a full bar, and a relaxed lounge environment that blends music with dining and late-night drinks.

The Seaport has grown rapidly over the past decade, with new restaurants, hotels, and venues reshaping Boston’s nightlife scene. But live jazz has remained a more limited offering compared to other cities.

This series helps fill that gap.

It also taps into a broader shift.

More venues across Boston are leaning into curated, experience-driven nights rather than traditional bar formats, giving people a reason to stay longer and come back regularly.

For anyone looking for something different midweek, the Jazz Lounge at Kestra adds a new option.

Live music, a central location, and a setting designed for conversation rather than crowds.
