18th Annual Taste of Chocolate Festival in Harvard Square

The Harvard Square Business Association is bringing back the 18th Annual Taste of Chocolate Festival from January 31 through February 1, turning Harvard Square into a chocolate-filled winter carnival with tastings, music, and special events. The highlight is a free Chocolate Tasting Event on Brattle Street on Saturday, January 31 from 1–2 pm, followed by an outdoor chocolate street party until 3:30 pm, featuring samples from dozens of local favorites including El Jefe’s Taqueria, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Amorino Gelato, Cardullo’s Gourmet Shoppe, and more. Guests can sip drinks from Charlie’s Kitchen, warm up in heated igloos or by fire pits, and catch live percussion from Grooversity. The celebration continues all weekend with chocolate-themed menus, deals, and promotions, plus ticketed chocolate classes at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education in February, ranging from chocolate sommelier tastings to meet-and-mingle events and hands-on parent-and-child chocolate art workshops.
