Cardi B blasted as she screams “we’re going to the Super Bowl” after boyfriend Stefon Diggs powers Patriots to victory
Cardi B found herself at the center of a backlash after celebrating the New England Patriots booking their place in the Super Bowl.

On this brutal, snow-soaked Sunday in Denver, Stefon Diggs helped New England edge past the Denver Broncos 10–7 in the AFC Championship. The win sent the Patriots to the league’s end-of-season showpiece for the first time since 2019.
Moments later, a video surfaced on social media showing Cardi B on the sidelines shouting into a camera. “We’re going to the Super Bowl! Let’s go!” she yelled.
The clip quickly spread online and drew sharp criticism from NFL fans. Some mocked her use of “we,” arguing she was only supporting the team because of her relationship with Diggs. Others compared her unfavorably to Taylor Swift, who has been a constant presence at games supporting Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Despite the reaction, Cardi doubled down when she spoke to NBC10 Boston after the game. Quoting the Patriots’ rallying cry, she said, “We all we got, we all we need,” praising the atmosphere in Denver and calling the Broncos’ supporters one of the best fan bases in the league. She added that Patriots fans “stuck it out and we won.”
It is the franchise’s first Super Bowl appearance since 2019, when the Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams 13–3 and raised the Lombardi Trophy.
Cardi’s enthusiasm feels lifelong, even if it is brand new. Diggs admitted last week that he “converted” her into a football fan. The timing could not be better. She has already become a fan favorite on the bandwagon, popping online after the playoff win over the Chargers and showing up in person for multiple games.
When she does, she sits in the owner’s suite with Robert Kraft. Kraft has even said Cardi is actually shy. Not on championship Sunday.
One thing is clear. Diggs is headed to his first Super Bowl. The Patriots are back. And Cardi B is loving every second of it.
