Whenever Tori Amos plays Boston, her devoted fanbase shows up. Saturday night July 1st was no different. When Amos approached her pianos, slightly slowed due to an injured foot from one of her previous shows, the crowd roared. Her signature smile and air hugs ensued and after a bow or two, she went straight into the music  Accompanied by a drummer and a bass player she refers to as the Silver Foxes. She opened the night with "God" from 1994's release Under the Pink, and then went into "Ocean to Ocean" from her newest release in 2021 of the same name.

She didn't miss a key and continued to enthrall the audience while even some of the city's pre-Fourth of July fireworks were happening across the water behind the stage. Amos herself mentioned how magical it was to be playing on the ocean at the Leader Bank Pavilion stage.

It is always a pleasure to catch Tori Amos perform live and after 30+ years she still brings passion to her art.

Openers Tow'rs played a set of folk songs, led by husband and wife duo Kyle and Gretta Miller, who met in college out in AZ and formed the band in 2014. They have released 6 albums in total with the latest being Joy Alchemy.
